Abstract: for high-quality development of the intelligent industry. Based on the connotation and characteristics of the intelligent industry, starting from four dimensions: element foundation，industrial structure，value efficiency and ecological evolution，an evaluation index system for the intelligent industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan period was constructed，which includes 4 first-level indicators and 9 second- level indicators. The analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method were combined to assign weights, and the development level of the intelligent industry in 30 provinces of China was measured. The research results show that there are significant differences in the development level of the intelligent industry among regions in China. Based on the above research findings，suggestions are put forward to strengthen the digital infrastructure foundation，improve the evaluation system of the intelligent industry，and deepen the application efficiency of the evaluation results, aiming to provide references for the coordinated regional development and precise policy-making of the intelligent industry in China during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
