Abstract:
definition,non-standardized weld specifications,complex process design,disjointed workflow coordination,and inefficient data transmission. This paper develops a model-based welding design and weld information management system for hull structures on the 3D EXPERIENCE platform. Starting from the detailed hull design model and driven by full-process welding data flow,the system uses secondary development to streamline data transmission across hull production design, weld modeling,welding process design, weld quantity statistics,and post-processing for hull component manufacturing,thereby enabling rapid welding design and efficient management based on a single data source. Applied and verified in practical shipbuilding projects,the system effectively eliminates data silos and integrates the entire workflow of hull welding design,providing a feasible solution for the digital and intelligent transformation of hull structure welding.
