Abstract:
Advanced equipment manufacturing is the cornerstone of industrial development, and the Field Engineer Program serves as a collaborative school-enterprise initiative for talent cultivation. This study examines existing challenges in current field engineer training programs within advanced equipment manufacturing, including issues in curriculum design, faculty expertise, student engagement, and school-enterprise collaboration. Taking the Electrical Automation Technology specialty at our institution as an example, we propose a curriculum system integrating job roles with courses and establish a shared-interest support framework. The implementation of the Changzhou Industrial Model is elaborated through specific project practices, offering insights for optimizing field engineer training in similar contexts.
