Abstract:
These models cannot be conventionally processed in 3D assembly process planning software, making it difficult for process engineers to accurately count the specifications and quantities of standard parts during process planning. Consequently,fine-grained management of standard parts is hindered. To address this issue,a research method for assembly process planning based on the assembly information model is proposed. Leveraging the manufacturing item definition module and process planning module of the 3D EXPERIENCE platform, secondary development was implemented to introduce two approaches:manual assignment and automatic assignment. This restructures the assembly information model into a manufacturing structure and visually assigns the restructured manufacturing structure to different workstations. Ultimately, this enables precise statistics on standard part specifications and quantities at each workstation, improves process design efficiency for engineers, and achieves significant application results.
