Abstract:
Establishing a digital thread across the full product lifecycle is a critical direction for digital transformation in product development,where XBOM(X-Bill of Material)serves as the core enabler for constructing a global digital thread. This study investigates the XBOM management model for product lifecycle in the aviation sector,summarizing three distinct approaches to information system development. The overall architectures under these approaches are introduced,and their strengths and weaknesses are analyzed. The findings provide actionable recommendations for enterprise system planning to achieve scientific and effective digital transformation.
