Abstract:
Box-type parts are critical components widely used in the electronics equipment manufacturing industry. Aiming to address the challenges in current production processes for box-type parts, such as multi-variety and small-batch processing characteristics, this study proposes the development of an intelligent flexible production line incorporating vertical machining centers, drilling and tapping centers, and industrial robots. This paper details the layout, processing techniques, and workflow of the production line. Automation is achieved in key stages including part loading/unloading, CNC program transmission, machine tool start/stop control, workpiece coordinate system setup, in-machine automatic tool calibration, and machine data acquisition. The implementation of this system enables automated production of box-type parts, significantly enhancing machine tool utilization, improving production efficiency, and ensuring machining quality. The construction of this production line provides a valuable reference for the development of intelligent workshops in the electronics industry.
